This Chinese company launched Nano EV electric car with 305 km range, is quite different from Tata Nano

Chinese automobile company Wuling recently announced the overwhelming response received for its Hongguang Mini EV electric car and now, the company has introduced a new player in the mini electric car world. Wuling has launched this mini electric car in the name of Nano EV. If you are an Indian, you will be familiar with this name. Indian automobile company Tata also launched its smallest and cheapest car Nano on Indian roads a few years back. However, Wuling’s Nano EV is quite different from that. The new electric car is capable of delivering a range of 305 km on a single charge and has a top speed of 100 kmph.

Wuling unveiled its new mini electric car as the Nano EV at the Tianjin International Auto Show. Present did. The company has also launched a limited edition of this electric car in association with Disney. Wooling has labeled the design of the Nano EV as “free to go”, which clearly targets the younger generation.

Wuling hasn’t revealed the price of the standard Nano EV yet, but the price of the Inside EV Report It says that the standard edition is expected to be much cheaper than the limited edition model.

The Nano EV electric car is powered by a 28 kWh battery that, according to the company, can deliver a range of up to 305 km (190 mi). This battery pack can be fully charged in 4.5 hours using the optional 6.6-kW power fast charger. It gets an electric motor equipped with 24kW (32 hp) and 85 Nm of torque, which, according to the company, can accelerate the car to a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph).

Wooling says that over 40% of the Nano EV’s body is made of strong steel and hot-formed steel. This model comes with electronic stability control, electronic brake-force along with insulation fault alarm and short circuit protection for the battery.
